Adaptive Life Skills Program

DEPARTMENT MISSION:

To provide equitable highly effective instruction to students with severe disabilities so that they will achieve maximum independence and positive quality of life.

DEPARTMENT SERVICES:

The program is designed to facilitate the students' development of maximum independence and to emphasize functional adaptive skills.

1.    Improve students' communication skills including the use of augmentation and/or alternative communication.
2.    Improve students' social interactions, particularly addressing communication.
