Department Services

Provide administrative support to the SCESD Board, advisors, component school districts and staff in administrative partnerships with community organizations and people, OAESD, Oregon Dept. of Education, SWOCC and other higher education institutions and elected officials or others that help us serve our school districts.

Organizational Goals

Program Goal:


Further develop SCESD’s organizational model, implement the South Coast ESD defined goals and effectively communicate to stakeholders in order to achieve sustainable technical and cultural change.


Local Service Plan:


Collaboratively prepare a Local Service Plan that meets the needs of the districts, the ESD and the new laws governing ESDs.


Sustainable Budget:


Develop a clearly articulated, sustainable budget that aligns with the Local Service Plan and the long range plans of the organization.


Systems and Procedures:


Develop and utilize an evaluation tool to determine the efficiency and effectiveness of our organizational systems and procedures.




Develop an accountability measurement tool for the organization to monitor its goals.


Service Culture:


Meet the needs of our stakeholders by fostering the growth of those that we serve to the best of our individual and collective abilities.




Design and implement a media plan that will address various stakeholders in multiple mediums.
