Active Parenting: First 5 Years Series in Brookings
Parents and caregivers of young children are invited to a free four-week Active Parenting series in Brookings, held on Tuesday evenings from 5:30 to 7:30 PM. Dinner is provided, and there are door prizes too!
Session dates:
October 20 and 27, and November 10 and 17
Designed for families with children in their first five years, this series offers practical, content-rich tools in a relaxed, zero-pressure environment. You'll learn positive discipline that strengthens your bond with your child, brain-building games that develop listening skills, and strategies for helping your child calm down, all while meeting other parents in your community.
Childcare is available for Head Start families, with drop-off starting at 5:15 PM.
