About the Training:
Caring for trauma survivors is deeply meaningful—and often emotionally demanding. Without supportive practices, both individuals and organizations can suffer burnout and dysfunction. This training explores the effects of trauma on professionals and workplaces, and offers trauma-sensitive strategies to sustain wellness, healing, and professional growth.
Who Should Attend:
Professionals working with trauma survivors, as well as supervisors and administrators focused on building healthy, sustainable work environments.
Facilitator:
Elaine Walters, Executive Director of the Trauma Healing Project.
Elaine brings 25+ years of experience in trauma healing, training, and community organizing. She’s a recognized leader in trauma-informed care and has worked extensively with survivors of violence and abuse.
