Regional Kindergarten Transition Professional Development – March 18, 2026
South Coast Education Service District is hosting a Regional Kindergarten Transition event on March 18, 2026, from 9:30 AM – 3:00 PM at The Barn, Bandon Community Center (1200 11th St. SW, Bandon, OR 97411).
This day is designed for educators and community leaders to explore practical strategies that support kindergarten transition, improve attendance and early learning, and strengthen family engagement — particularly in rural communities. Attendees will leave equipped with literacy tools, classroom-ready approaches, and ideas to make every child feel welcomed from day one.
This event is ideal for: District & School Administrators, Kindergarten Teachers, School Secretaries, District Staff, Family & Community Engagement Personnel, and Head Start Staff.
